Art: "The New Yorker," 2011
Containing such timely articles as "How Bad Is It? The Economy After the Debt Ceiling Agreement" and "The Business of Austerity: Why Wall Street Should Fear the Tea Party." The cover itself, titled "S.O.S," is by Christoph Niemann, who is no stranger to gracing the cover of "The New Yorker."
I am also quite fond of Robert Risko's cover for a late 2008 issue which references a particular piece of Gothic literature.
